| The Tyler, Robert, Tracy, Jolley, Windsor, Hill, Newhouse, Ellwood, Mc Laughlin, Reniff, Cram and Groff families can be traced back to England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany and France where they first lived before coming to America, but along the way some paired with the natives of this land, and so we are a wonderful mix of European and American Indian. I am still looking for the exact connections, the who and the where. If you find an ancestor of your own among these pages, contact me - I would love to hear from you and learn what we can from each other! I am particularly excited to report the results of an mtDNA test I took which took my maternal female ancestor line (Doris Robert, Ida Jolley, Hattie Belle Hill, Bethena Ellwood, Amelia Alice Eddy, Mary Aiken,and her mother Martha - on back) back about 45,000 years to Haplogroup U, which came out of Africa about 45,000 years ago and settled in Greece, migrating west to other parts of Europe from there. In the "Seven Daughters of Eve" genre, this would be "Ursula". I am, of course, especially interested in learning the last names of the women back beyond Mary Aiken, starting with her mother, Martha! I am having photo CD's made of photographs gathered partially from my parents' sheds (the Hills, Ellwoods, Jolley's and Robert's - many in poor shape, but at least we have them), after the death of my precious father, and partially of photos generously and trustingly lent to me by my parents' cousins. If any of you would like to contribute photos of any people documented here, or who are related to any of them, please let me know - color copies from a copy store are almost as good as originals, and will work fine. Each contributor gets a copy of all CD's of that particular family branch, which can then be copied for your children, grandchildren, neices and nephews, etc.! The certificate and migration map for "Ursula's" clan will be loaded on each branch's CD. This way, we can all share in the goodies, rather than everything being in the possession of a handful of lucky people.
