At the present time I am consatrating on the SUMPTER-NUGENT-DEARTH

I've traced Hiram SUMPTER (b.1841) Family back to South Carolina, Indiana-1841, and in Illinois at least in 1876. Hiram married Sada NUGENT (b.1859) May 28, 1883-and lived in Carlock, Illinois.
Their Children were Pearl, Nellie, Sadie Rose, Angie Olive, Daisy Maud, and Frank Hamilton, Jessie, and Amy SUMPTER.

Sada had a son before this marriage-George E.HORMELL(b.1881) by a previous relationship.


Hiram SUMPTER also was married to Mary Ann SCOTT in 1864-Dewitt Co., Illinois, and Mrs. Mariah J. DIXON in 1876-Jefferson Co., Illinois.


The DEARTH Family are Charles Nelson DEARTH (B.1861) who married Elizabeth POTTER(b.1864) IN 1883. Charles father was Elis DEARTH who was married to Hannah GERMAN-DEWITT-DEARTH. Elizabeth father was Joseph POTTER who was married to Emiline MOAT OR MOTT. The DEARTH I have from Iowa.
