Thank you for stopping by my web page. Surnames that I am searching for are, TYSON, KNITTLE & WRIGHT. We are trying to find the parents and other siblings of JOSEPH TYSON. Joseph was born May 7, 1813 in (what we think)Schuylkill County, PA and died March 4, 1890 and is buried in Numidia, PA. Family history has it that Joseph only spoke Pennsylvania Dutch, if I understand this he would have came from Germany? If you feel this is not correct, please let me know. Joseph married SARAH A. KNITTLE, November 1, 1840 in Catawissa, PA. Sarah was born July 21, 1823 and died December 3, 1892 and is also buried in Numidia, PA. Joseph and Sarah had 12 children all born in PA: 1. David Tyson b. 10-12-1841, d. 1907, m. Charlotta ? 2. William Otis Tyson b. 1-9-1843, d. 9-28-1907, m. Mary Beaver 3. Amilia Tyson b. 4-28-45 4. Feyetta Elizabeth Tyson b. 4-26-1847, d. 2-20-1872, m. Jacob Freeman Nice, Sr. 5. Johathan Tyson b. 4-6-1849, 6. Sarah Tyson b. 7-29-1850 7. Benjamin Franklin Tyson b 2-14-1852, m. Sarah Ann Clayburger 8. Joseph Tyson b 1854, d. 1927, m. Anna P. ? 9. Mary Tyson b. 1856, d. 11-26-1856 10. Henry Haines Tyson b. 1857, d. 1929, m. Sarah Elizabeth Duty 11. Jacob Tyson b. 3-12-1864, d. 8-16-1943, m. Lizzie J. Johnson, m. Susanna Craig 12. Savilla Tyson b. Abt 1866 I do know that all these Tyson's were born in PA and were of the Lutheran faith. William Otis Tyson came to Osage County, Kansas. Feyetta Elizabeth Tyson stayed in PA. I do not know where the rest have gone, but it appears that they stayed in PA. Now for the WRIGHT'S. We are looking for the parents, to DAVID WRIGHT and his other siblings (14 in all) listed below. It is said that their fathers name was LLOYD WRIGHT. We do not know if this is a first, middle or nickname. These Wright's were born in OH and IN. David came to Osage County, Kansas. We have pictures of him and Adam. It is unknown if Adam also came to Osage County, Kansas. 1. David Wright b. 7-23-1848 maybe in Ohio, d. 2-18-1915, m. Susan Elmaria Brannon 2. Richard Wright 3. Elic Wright 4. Samuel Wright 5. Adam Wright 6. Danny Wright 7. Mahala Wright m. Hill 8. Marie Wright m. Hill 9. Margaret Wright m. Page 10. Jenny Wright m. Reed 11. Harriett Wright m. Neldon 12. Martha Wright m. McBride 13. Elizabeth Wright m. Billie Fine 14. Maliza Wright m. Short It has not yet been proven but a deceased relative has said that David Wright was a cousin to the Wright Brothers. I have not been able to find this connection as of yet.
