Ralph Bennett, a son of Granvil M. and Miss Abba (Campbell) Bennett, was (born Oct. 8, 1886). He is a farmer and he married Miss Blanch Bennett, his first cousin and a daughter of James and Miss Clary Escue (Bennett) Bennett, in 1922. They live near Conneaut, Ohio. No children were born to this union but they took his brother's baby girl, Alberta when her mother died, March 15, 1925 to raise and is now 16 years old. Ralph Bennett served 16 months in the World War over sea and was honorably discharged.

VIRGINIA CATHERINE5 BENNETT (SILAS Q.4, MARY3 QUEEN, CHARLES2, CHARLES1) was born June 02, 1855 in Hodgeville, Hackers Creek Upshur County, Virginia, and died May 08, 1933 in Reedsville, Meigs County, Ohio. She married STEPHEN POST QUEEN September 22, 1871 in Hackers Creek, Upshur County, West Virginia, son of STEWART QUEEN and ANNA POST. He was born November 19, 1848 in Pecks Run, Lewis County, Virginia., and died March 22, 1947 in Reedsville, Meigs County, Ohio.

Stephen Post Queen, a son of Anna (Post) Queen, and Stewart Litle Queen, was born November 19, 1848, ( died March 22, 1947 at Reedsville, Meigs County Ohio and married Virginia Catherine Bennett, September 22, 1871 ( born June 2, 1855), (died May 8, 1933 age 77 years, 11 months and 7 days) at Reedsville, Meigs County Ohio. Stephen Post Queen owned a farm of 253 acres on Kincheloe Creek, Lewis County, W. Va. and raised quite a lot of stock, hogs, sheep, cattle, and horses on that farm and a lot of wheat, oats corn, and hay.

Harvey Harrison Queen was a professional Blacksmith, and was a soldier in. the World War, in Battery " E," 314th Field Artillery and went over seas September, 1917 and participated in a number of the most important battles. During his services in France, he was gassed, but came back home and was honorably discharged in June of 1919, and married a Miss Mae Keefer of Sunbury Pa. on the Susquehanna River. They lived in Clarksburg, W. Va. (No children). He died suddenly while waiting for a street car to pick him up at Weston, W Va. after his day's labor, and the attending physician pronounced his death due to being gassed in World War, in France. He was buried in the Green Lawn Cemetery, at Clarksburg, W. Va.



131. ELIZABETH PERMELIA5 BENNETT (SILAS Q.4, MARY3 QUEEN, CHARLES2, CHARLES1) was born October 28, 1856, and died March 16, 1903. She married (1) MONTERVIL BARNETT. She married (2) AMBEY JORDAN. She married (3) JOHN JORDAN.

LIZABETH PERMELIA BENNETT:

Elizabeth Parmelia Bennett, a daughter of Miss Rebecca Crites Bennett, and Silas Bennett, was (born Oct. 28, 1856), died March 16, 1903, was married three times. Her first . husband was John Jordan, her second husband was Ambey Jordan, and her third husband was Mountervill Barnett.

Her first husband (John Jordan), served 4 years as a soldier in the Federal or Union Army of the Civil War and came out safe and received an honorable discharge and drew a pension from the Government until his death.

She drew a pension of $12.00 per month for herself and $2.00 per month for each child, totaling $18.00 per month till she remarried to Ambey Jordan, then S. P. Queen was appointed as Guardian for the children and drew the $2.00 per month and was successful in getting the Government to continue giving the mother's allowance of $12.00 per month to the children, till they were (16) years of age. So S. P. Queen was able to lay up and save $900 for James Jordan and turned over this amount to him, when he was (21) years of age.

In January, 1894, Willie, James, and Esley and Abbey and Sarah Jordan all had the Diphtheria at the same time, and Esley, Ambey, and Sarah died within a few days of each other. She then again remarried to Montervil Barnett (no children), and she died March 16, 1903.
