Researching UBAUDI, LUCAS, COOPER, & QUEEN John Lucas b. July 15, 1749 in Giles County, Virginia d. April 19, 1836 in Montgomery county, Virginia m. Mary Polly Wilson February 15, 1775, served a number of years as a Captain in the Revolutionary War. (See Page 67 of the publication "The Lucas Family" compiled by the American Genealogical Research Institute and published by Heritage Press, Inc., Washington, D.C., 1975. Captain John Lucas and his wife Mary Polly Wilson Lucas are buried in the Old Cooper Cemetery, located about 2 1/2 miles East of Calfee Mountain in Virginia
