I am researching the Ude Family which came over to America from Germany in 1849. They settled in St. Louis, Missouri and Collinsville, Illinois. I am looking for the following surnames: Bruns, Eckart, Flachsbart, Fedder, Giesecke, Hagemeyer, Neumerck, Paul, Schaumloeffel, Ude, Uphoff. In addition I am also starting research on my mothers side: John Alec Thomas born in Bedford, TN who married Linda Powell. Their childrens surnames are : Espy, Laughlin, Pilkington, Thomas, Todd. Any information would be apprecieated. I am also willing to share the information I have.
