| I have extensive data on the descendants of William PAISLEY, Sr., who emigrated from Co. Tyrone, Ulster, Ireland, around 1737 to Pennsylvania and then, in 1765, to Orange Co. (later Guilford Co.), North Carolina. His eldest son, Robert PAISLEY, Sr., migrated to Logan Co., Kentucky, in 1796, and his descendants migrated in the 1820s to Bond Co., Illinois, where they settled for several generations. I am anxious to share information, documentation and sources. Other connecting family names are: MCLEAN, MAJOR, MARSHALL, FINLEY, MCDOWELL, DRISKILL, NELSON, CRUTHIS/CRUTHES/CARUTHERS, KIRKLAND, LINDLEY, HOLBROOK, BROOKS, DARBY, PIERCE, ULMER, GOERNER, DETTMAN, STOCKS, CROZIER, PITTMAN, JOHANSEN. |
