The family left France for England during the Huguenot Persecutions. This Branch of the LeVoirs came to Canada in 1892 settled in Ontario and later moved west to Alberta. We are related to the Craggs and Toop families. We are still searching for roots in England and France.

Our first Family Reunion was held in 1982 about 100 members attended.

We had our second Family Reunion in 2001 with about 80 members attending. Roger and Denise LeVoir from London, England gave us the pleasure of their company by attending as well. They are cousins from a different branch of the family. Roger and I have been corresponding for several years and it was a great pleasure to finally meet him.

This year, 2004, my husband and I flew to England to attend a LeVoir Family Reunion that Roger put together for the family there. About 50 members attended and it was wonderfull to put faces to several of the cousins that I had been in touch with.

The families are still working on the trees and we are continually adding information and still seeking unknown members.
