I sure do know about piecing the puzzle together...

Some of our info most likely can NEVER be verified as records either NEVER WERE at all or are GONE FOREVER...

Don't do much record keeping anymore for several reasons...

Seems like a dtr of J H and Ann UNDERWOOD was born pretty darn soon after their marriage in ala

She, also was Ann(Annie to our side)

She later married (in Leon Co., Tx) James Boliver BARRETT born somewhere around 1844 in Missisppi.

The BARRETTS UNDERWOODS and NEWBERRYS arrived in Leon Co at around the same time between 1855 and 1860.

Annie and James Barrett had more children that my grandmother even knew about and one was James Pinkny BARRETT b 1866 in Leon Co

James P BARRETT married Jenny ALEXANDER in Leon Co in 1888 and had one dtr before he died
She also was ANNIE b 1892...

Annie BARRETT married Jack Robinson in 1910 in Leon Co and one of their children, Ruby M ROBINSON b 1912 married Finis BROWN in 1942 and HERE I am !

I was born 1944(John Thomas BROWN)

Frankly, when I started looking around for the UNDERWOODS I figure NO ONE would ever find them as the area in Leon where they lived was SO far in the woods!!!!!!!
