| In the 1870's, William Uniac (Uniacke) and his wife Ellen Hagarty left Ireland with Ellen's brother John Hagarty, and another sister Bridget Hagarty, and sailed for Canada. William and Ellen settled in Ontario, and settled on a farm in Logan Township, in Perth County. The family tree now lists over 500 names in the family descendant from William. Any information on the ancestors of William Uniac would be greatly appreciated. |
