| I am researchig the UPDEGRAFF family which originally sailed to America on the Concord in 1683 from Krefeld, Germany. I have family trees from that time to the present. My personal tree goes back to a Thomas Lloyd Updegraff born 1826 in Zainsville, Ohio who moved to Bethany Missouri via wagon train with his wife Elizabeth VanPhosen. Six generations later one can still find many decendants still living there. Bethany is in the northwest part of the state. I live in Springfield located in the southwest part of Missouri. Springfield is well known for the Bass Pro Outdoors World and Branson, Mo. My goal is to tie into this large family tree which originated in Krefeld. Any information on Thomas Lloyd Updegraff would be greatly appreciated and any correspondence would be very welcome. Especially Missouri Updegraff's or any Updegraff who can trace their roots back to Bethany. |
Thomas E, Updegraff of Springfield, Mo.
