Birth place of England is listed as probably Judge Nelson sailed into Bath County(now Carteret County) N.C. in 1702 with his son, Captain John Nelson, Jr the apparent Master of the vessel. 3 daughters, and other colonist from England Record spelled Judge Nelsons name Nellson. This could have been a spelling error as his sons name was spelled Nelson.
