Hi, Welcome to my Page.
I have been researching my Family Tree since 1985 and have just about finished entering it into my database (finally).
I am researching the surnames Urquhart,Johnston,Bruce,and Lambie on my father's tree,and the surnames Pountney,Onions,Mayoh,Holman,Huckel and Abbott on my mother's tree.
My father's parents arrived from Scotland from Aberdeenshire,Perthshire and Angus and met and married here in Australia .
My mother's family have been in Australia much longer,the Mayoh's and Huckel's arriving along with the Victorian Gold Rush in 1840,the Holman's arriving in Rockhampton in 1877 and the Pountney's arriving in North Queensland in 1887 and heading inland to Ravenswood.
Any contact would be welcome and I am willing to exchange.
