Ursino-Slapak-Moret in Seattle, WA

I'm just getting started on my family research. I currently only have information from my father's side of the family (Slapak) and that only goes back about 2 generations. The family is easily traced back to Czechoslavakia, but I'm having a hard time finding more information before about the 1880's. My mother's side of the family (Moret) is huge in Switzerland. I have yet to get many details from her, but should have them included shortly.
