| Paul Batory, Esther Selma Kitzki Batory, are my parents. Lived in & married in Pittsburgh, Pa. Paul Batory came to the US about 1900 or 1905. Esther was born in Pittsburgh, PA. The Shannon's I'm looking for are from upper Michigan, I think & from Conneaut, Ohio. Mark Shannon was Howard's father and Phillip C. Shannon is Howard's son. The Kitzki or Kitzky family came from Prussia the first part of the century. The Uthe family was from Cleveland, Ohio. Chester Thomas Uthe moved to Ashtabula, Oh & married Mary Parks. Chet was born May 16, 1910, Mary in August 1912. Paul born on April 7, 1900, Esther born on Dec. 12, 1904. Howard Shannon died in a fire in Conneaut about 1952; Mark Shannon died about Jan. 1961. Paul Batory & Dorthea Batory came from Austria early 1900 to Pittsburgh, Pa. (my grandfather) Paul Batory, born 4/7/1900 in Austria, lived in Pittsburgh, Pa & Linesville, Pa. died 2/2/66 Esther Selma Kitzki Batory born 12/12/1904 in Pittsburgh, Pa, died in Ashtabula, Oh 6/21/70 Mark Shannon, died 1/1961 lived in Conneaut, Oh Howard Shannon, died in a fire in 1952 in Conneaut, Oh, was married to Beatrice John Kitzky came to US from Prussia early 1900's, married Fredericka Scharnowski, she died in 1939; he died in 1929, I think Chester Thomas Uthe was born 5/14/1910 in Cleveland, OH, died in Jan. 1993 in Durham, NC, I think 1993 Mary Parks Uthe was born in Oil City or Union City, PA on 8/17/1912. I'm looking for info to make 2 "trees", one for my children and one for my second husband's children; that's why so many names. Austria, Australia, Germany, Prussia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Louisiana, all these places could and will figure into my search. I'm almost overwhelmed by all I have to find. Relevant names are: Batory or Bathory, Kitzki or Kitzky, Scharnowski, Shannon from Michican & northern Ohio, Uthe or vonHuey, Parks from northern Ohio and Pennsylvania. My father's one sister, Julia Kowach, had done a Family Tree years ago, but I don't know who has it or knowes of it. She had several children, but I can't reach them to inquire. So, if you are a cousing of mine and Julia Kowach was your Mom, please contact me. |
