At separate times, two of my paternal Great,Great-Grandfathers, David Jefferson Utter & Thomas Nathaniel Johnson, came from Indiana to settle in Missouri. They both chose McDonald County in SW MO and by doing so, became Missouri Pioneer families. They were both farmers and Pa Johnson worked in the logging business, also.

They grew up as neighbors in northern McDonald County. Two Utter boys married two Johnson sisters.

Through my research, I am recording their stories and the events of their lives.
