Paul and I have been doing research on both sides of our respective family trees.We have collected information on the descendants of Franz Anton Vagedes, who immigrated to the United States from West Phalia (Germany)in 1845, as well as Bernard "Emil" Emmanuel Garman(n)who arrived from West Phalia in June 1881 from the Vagedes side of the family.Betty traces her roots from Joseph T. Roff and Mary Jane McGallian on the maternal side and John Coss Johnson from Tennessee through her father.We are always interested in exchanging and sharing information on any of these or other related lines. |
