I am researching Durant(changed from Durand), Allard, Levesen families. In mid 1800s Durant Family lived in Champlain NY later moving to Clinton County Mass and moved circa 1890s to Hudson County, Arlington, NJ. Joseph Durant married to Marie (Mary) Allard 12/31/1874 Clinton County and, having 9 children Eva, Francis, John, Samuel, Ethel, Joseph, William (the author Will Durant)and Leanore Durant who married Maurice Joseph Levesen and having 6 children.
