| Research of the Durant Family (changed from Durand) immigrated from Quebec, Canada Jacob Durand, married Mary Elchambeau. I am a decendent of the last born Joseph Durant(d) who married Marie Allard in Champlain NY on December 31, 1874. They moved to North Adams, MA then later to Kearney/Arlington, NJ. They bore 9 children to include Joseph, Marie-Lenore, Francis Xavier (who died age 4 months), John Bie, Will(iam) Durant author, Samuel, Eva, Frank, Ethel. Levesen was the marriage between Maurice LEVESEN and Marie-Lenore (Leah)DURANT 2/14/1899 Kearney, NJ and having 5 children Maurice, Harvey, Rita, Ruth, Francis. |
