The Robert David Vajgrt Family Home Page

I am researching the following family surnames which I have found in my searching so far. They are Vajgrt, Vajgert, Vajgart, Vajgertoir. I have gotten back to 1838, and found that my ancestors have come from Sasava,(Bohemia) Czechoslovakia. Most of the family settled in Iowa in and around Dilon. Some moved to Cadott, Wisconsin. My great great grandfather was Mateji(Matthew Vajgert)Vajgertoir, My great grandfather was Yan (John) Vajgrt, My grandfather was John Vajgrt and my father was Frederick Ferdinand Vajgrt. I have eight generations on my tree so far. I would like to get more information from anyone with the same surnames if possible. I am willing to share the information I have at the present time and would like to have contact with anyone interested in this project. We have a family reunion each year in Conrad, Iowa which I will be have to give out more information on to those that are interested.
