NEILL ~ HOGGAN Background
( at least the best that I can come up with)

GEORGE NEILL was born July 21, 1880 in Ireland, this is my Great Grandfather. I learned that he was a Boer War Veteran and immigrated to Canada in 1903 after serving in the Royal Navy. He married MARY MINARDS some time before 1902. They had 7 children, 2 born in England the other 5 born in Canada. ( or so I am assuming by the obituary). Their eldest son GEORGE NEILL is my Grandfather. Their 3rd daughter, CHARLOTTE, was the first white child to be born in Port Simpson, British Columbia, Canada.
