Hello, We are from the Western Massachusetts area; Chicopee, Ludlow, and Agawam, MA. We are researching Karen's paternal family names of: Adams, Makara, Comeau. The Adams' are believed to have entered the US via Quebec, to NY, CT, and MA. The family originated in Britain, and France. In addition, we are also researching Karen's maternal family names of: Dumas, Sancomb, Fayette. The Dumas family dates back to the Amercian Revolution, and then back to France and other Western European Countries. We are researching Bruce's paternal family names of: Vanderlick, Tudryn, and Skoniecny. The Vanderlick's entered the country from Prussia around 1875. They are believed to originated in Germany. The family split, some moving to Western Europe, before moving to the US. The Vanderlicks settled in Northampton MA, CT, OK, and NY. In addition, we are researching Bruce's maternal family names of: Rowland, and Sullivan. The Rowlands are beleived to have moved here from Ireland, Scotland and England.
