| Hello, We are researching the following Surnames: The Vanderlicks came to the U.S. around 1880 from Prussia, an area known as Silasia. They settled in Hatfield, and Northhampton, MA. The following Surnames are connected by marriage: Vanderlick,Tudryn, Skoniecny, Malintac, Kochyt. Berniche, Dzialo, Fortier, Fournier, Kozik, Krzanowski, Yagodzinski, Malinowski, Raskevitz, and Altimari. We are unsure when the Roys came to the U.S. We believe it was in the 1700's. They settled in Saratoga County, NY, Holyoke, MA, and CT. The following Surnames are connected by marriage: Roy, Rowland, Sullivan, Walsh or Welch, Woodell, Gifford, Briggs, Chatfield, Hyde, Dowin, Boyd, Phelps. The Adams came to the U.S. from French Canada. We believe they settled in Eastern NY, ME, and MA, especially, Worcester County, and Chicopee, MA. We believe the Adams originated in Scotland, England, and France. We are unsure as to when they migrated, but believe it was around 1880. The following Surnames are connected by marriage: Adams, Makara, Comeau, Duhaime, Noel, Rokita, Szetela, Strycharz. The Dumas family came to the U.S. in the 1700's. They settled in New England, especially, NY, and MA. The following Surnames are connected by marriage: Dumas, Sancomb, Nichols or Nicklaw, Muir, Fayette, Sherwin, Wilson, Boyer. Lacroix.
