I am researching my father's family which is Samuels/Snyder. On the Samuels side I have found mostly in Indiana dating back to 1835 which would be the birth of my Great-Great Grandfather: John M. Samuels. I believe his father was Andrew Samuels born in North Carolina around 1817. The Snyder family I have found Great Grandfather: John Riley Snyder in Indiana born around 1866. His father I believe is David Snyder born in Pennsylvania around 1824. I would like to research my husband's family but they are from the Netherlands. If anyone can give me pointers on how to do so they would be much appreciated. I have his father's boat and passenger list from when he came to the United States. We do not know alot about the family. I also have information on my husband's mother's side which includes Guentert from Wisconsin. And Schueller from Wisconsin. I plan on putting the information his grandmother gave me on the computer as soon as I can find the time. I also have information for my mother's family which includes Marks and Reese family's I intend to enter this information also it is mostly compilied by relatives. But could help someone else looking for this information. |
