| I am trying to find information on my gr gr grandfather THOMAS MCCUE, born 12 Jan 1802 in Ireland. He was married to an ANNE Moore. They settled in Pine Twp, Allegheny Co., PA. They had 13 children, Ellen, Robert, William, John, Thomas, DANIEL, Anne, Susan,James, Catherine,Annie, Thomas and Emma. DANIEL MCCUE was my gr grandfather. b-1841, d-1895 married ANGELINE BROWN. They had 11 children,- EDWARD DANIEL (my grandfather), John L, Lee, Mae, Rolland (or Rollector, not sure of his name), Will, Della, Charles, Selma, Henry and Thomas. Daniel, Selma and Charles spent some time in the Soldier and Orphans Home in Scotland PA after their parents died. I am also trying to find information on my husbands family. Especially ALONZO VAN STIENBURG and his father EUGENE VAN STENBURG. Alonzo was married to ANNA FRANCES LYONS,he was a Doctor and they had 3 children. I am particularly interested in his early years. EUGENE was married twice, to LYDIA and ELIZABETH LYON who were sisters. EUGENE and ALONZO were both born in Saratoga Co, NY. Eugene's father was JACOB VAN STEENBURG b-1786 in Milton, Saratoga Co., NY He lived his whole life there and when he died his wife HANNAH moved to Michigan with her daughter Maria Seamans. Other names I am researching are WILLIAM EASTERBROOK, b- 1864 in England married PRUDENCE WOOTON b- 1868 in England. They settled in Mercer Co., PA. HAGGERTY, especiall Elias b- abt 1910 in PA he married HANNAH GOAS. they lived in Franklin, Venango Co., PA. FREDERICK and Eleanor GOAS, parents of Hannah. GIFFORD and SARAH BRAINGER WOOTON. JOSEPH b-1814 and ANNA DOUTHIT WILSON b- 1828, Indiana Co., PA JOHN LYON b- 1782 in NY d- 1861 in Stockport, Iowa married to ESTHER MILLY b- 1783 in MA. They had 4 childen that we know of- John, Lydia Jane, James, Elizabeth C. CHARLES FOX born in VA died IA married FRANCES GIBSON of VA. they had 8 daughters and 2 sons of which we have 4 names- Harriett b- 1834 in VA (gr grandmother),John Brown FOX b-1837 in OH, Mary, Phoebe |
