Some of our surnames not given below are CALVIN, HOFFER, HOCKETT, LOTSPEICH, LOUDERBACK, MIGNEREY, ROUDEBUSH, REISS, VANCE, WARDLAW, and WELLMAN.

Solan (Solomon) BUTTS and his wife Rebecca (Reveca), originally from New York, lived in Michigan when my great-grandfather, Marion Adelbert Butts, was born in 1850. Marion became a Methodist circuit rider and lived in Ohio and Kansas.

The elusive LACOMA family, headed by Paul Lacoma and his wife Anna SLIWA, emmigrated from Poland to Tarnov, Platte Co., Nebraska around 1880. I'm family historian and would be glad to learn more about them and find long-lost family members. I'm collecting information about many Polish families in Platte and Nance county, NE... if you're from there, I'd love to hear from you! My other Polish great-greats are Stanisalus GACIARZ and Catherine KNAPIK (Gunchick, Guncheck, Ganciarz, Gonciarz, Knopik, etc)

The Nebraska Czech portion of the family tree is a special interest of mine. Surnames include Benak, Bezousek, Dvorak, Krajicek, Prusha, Riha, Roza, Sklenicka, Skvaril, Swoboda, Tourek, Vacek, Woracek, and Zeznecek, and Zezulak.
