| I am just beginning to put together my family tree on both my mother's side and my father's side. I received a great deal of information from my dad and my maternal grandma on her side of the family, but on my maternal grandpa's side has been a little tough since his last name is Jones. I have been able to go back to a few generations, but since this is a VERY common last name I can't find much. Harry Louis Jones, Sr is from Pennsylvania. He was born on June 6, 1891 and died Feb 5, 1969 in Kalispell, MT. He was married to Jeanette Alice Mills on Aug 14, 1913 in LaPorte, Indiana. His father's name was Walter Jones and his mother's name was Emma Bailer. He had 4 brothers: Leland, George, Silas and C. Wilson; he had 3 sisters Ada, Bessie and Clara. Sister's married names were: Ada Merkel, Bessie Miller, and Clara Jago. If anyone has any information it would be appreciated.On the Van Frachen side of the family I have as far back as Herman Van Frachem (spelled last name ending with a "m" instead of an "n"). He was born 1849 in Holland, Netherlands and died May 31, 1926 in Green Bay, WI. He married Maria Theresa Tilly on July 8, 1872. She was the daughter of William Tilly and Mary Wouters. Any help with this family line is also appreciated. |
