I am researching the family of Harry P. Thackery. His birthdate is September 4, 1917 and he died December 19, 1970. His family (mom and dad and maybe sistes and brothers) may have come from Iowa. They were farmers. Harry owned a farm in Indiana up until his death in the 1970.
Harry had four children. Their names were David, Harriett, Donna, and Wendell. His wife, Velma, still resides in Rushville, Indiana.

I'm also doing research on Harrison William Van Tassell. He went by the nick name of Van. He was born February 10, 1913 and died May 1984 in Seattle, Washington.

I have no information on where he came from. He lived in Washington state for a number of years. He was married but I have no information on his wife. She died giving birth to their son, Harrison William Van Tassell IV.
