Our branch of the VANCES come out of Henderson, North Carolina (Josiah Gidion Vance who married Lodica "Dicy" King) They headed west around 1890 to 1900 and first went to the state of Washington and died around 1900 in Tacoma, Washington. We have a family get-together each year on memoral day weekend. |
