Married--At the M. E. Parsonage in this city, January 26, 1897, by Rev. F. H. Flinkinger, Wm. J. Nolan and Miss Ollie Tedstrom, both of this township. This is a worthy young couple and are well and favorably known to all our people, and they have hosts of friends who unite with us in wishing them a happy, prosperous and contented life.
Mound Valley Herald Died--At her home near this city, Tuesday night, Dec 21, after an illness of several weeks with typoid fever, Mrs. Ollie Nolan, aged about 22 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tedstrom and was an estimable and worthy young woman. She was married to Wm. Nolan last January, and the young husband has the sympathy of a large number of friends in his sad bereavement in the loss of a companion. The funeral service was held at the M. E. church in this city Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Re. Flickinger, and was attended by a large congregation, attesting the esteem in which the young woman was held. To the parents and numerous brothers and sister of the deceased's extended the sympathy of the entire communtiy.
