Rev. Gerald and Ellen Van Oyen's Family History Page

We are researching the Van Oyen family name. Father, Fred and Grandfater Gerrit immigrated between 1919 and 1930 first to Westbury, Long Island and then to Lansing, Illinois from Amsterdam, Netherland.We are seeking the European connections to this small branch of the Van Oyen tree. This families connections seem to have been severed from the rest of the family due to differing religious backgrounds. Fred was a Shakesperean actor in the Netherlands and a degreed horticulturist from a Dutch University.
