I am currently doing research on the final resting sites for various lines of Van's. I live in Indiana, and have started working in the Southern portion of my home state, and the Northern section of Kentucky. I would appreciate any locations of Van family burial sites. Headstone: Jacob Banta Vanosdol (60 KB) This is the headstone of my GGGG-Grandfather, Jacob Banta Vanosdol. It is located in Southern Indiana. It reads: JACOB B. VANOSDOL/ DIED/ April 19, 1872:/ Aged 84 Years./ Our Fathers Grave/ He was actually born on April 25th, 1788. That date would make him six days short of his 84th birthday. Headstone: John S. Vanosdol (162 KB) This is the headstone of my GGG-Grandfather, John S. Vanosdol. He was born in Jefferson County, IN, on August 10, 1820. The marker reads: Catharine/ Wife of/ John Vanosdol/ Born/ Aug 31, 1822/ Died/ July 23, 1896/ JOHN VANOSDOL/ BORN/ Aug 10, 1820/ Died/ Aug 19, 1906/ Headstone: Thomas J. Vanosdol (4 KB) This is the headstone of my GG-Grandfather Thomas Jefferson Vanosdol and his wife Sarah Ellen (Jolly)
