This Home Page is dedicated to my Grandmother, Elsa Belle (Haswell)Gibbs. She passed away in the Fall of 1999 and was the last Gibbs in the direct line of Franklin Benjamin Gibbs. If she was typical of the Gibbs's, then our family has done and experienced a great many things during the birth of this nation. She was born in South Dakota and spent time in the States of Montana, Washington, California (briefly to marry my Grandfather), and the remainder of her life in New York. She was a wonderful woman who lived her life to the fullest. Her family and friends were always the most important and cherished parts of her life. All of us miss her and remember the special things she did in and for our lives. Would love to hear from anyone who has a tie or possible tie to the family through my e-mail above. Thanks, Keith
