| I started this project half-heartedly about 1994, five years after my Father died. After finding the 175 or so immedeate relatives on my Father's side I got caught up in a few other things. I am about to give my youngest child a "gentle" nudge out into the world, so it's time to get back to this project. I am looking for information of the Bergeman/LaGrou Family of Fremont Ohio. They arrived about 1910. I also am interested in the Van Keuren Family of Detroit. I will update other families I am interested in as I fill in the holes. I will trade basic information freely with others. The early version of this tree is included on CD 711 World Family Tree: Vol. 11 Tree 4224. I have since done much fine tuning since then, added many more people and am about to make the first "leap" across the Atlantic. On further work on the tree I have found a conection to a family of Smiths in Canada who left the U.S. after the War of 1812. I also have begun working on the maternal line and have traced several hundred member of the Beil family of Youngstown, OH. however the information dries up in the mid 1960 so it is aboout one generation incomplete.
