I am researching the Vanderhoof, Voltz,and Volz familys. Most are at pressent living in Mauston Wisconsin and have been for many years. i am told my great grandfather Charles Volz came over to the US from Germany between 1880 and 1883 With his Father and mother. Carl Fredrick Volz and Augusta Roloff. Any information would be of great help. The Vanderhoof line goes back I have searched to David D Vanderhoof born 1811 in New York. his wife was Jane McCarter.
