Mary Ann Van Auken, daughter of Anthony Van Auken and Mary Lord, wa s born 1 May 1862, living the greater part of her life in Spencer Tow nship. About 11 years ago with her husband, she moved to Swanton Town ship, where she departed this life, 19 December 1928, aged 66 years , 7 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage with Charles Zeigl er, 5 February 1891.To them were born eight children:
1. Minnie
2. Oma
3. Emily
4. Jinnie
5. Elizabeth
6. Ethel
7. Charles
8. John
ObitMrs Zeigler was redeived into full membership of the Baptist Ch urch during her girlhood by the Rite of Baptism. She was a faithful m ember of the church and steadfast in her faith.Her memory, as a fai thful and devoted wife, mother and sister is cherished by Husband, ch ildren, three sisters and one brother. We stand in the presence of my stery.We trust our Heavenly Father, who knows the way, who holds th e key and guides us with unerring hand. The funeral services were con ducted by Rev. C. I. Lau at the Spencer church, Dec 22, at 2:00 P.M .Committal services were held at the Harding Township Cemetery wher e the body reposed. Card of Thanks We desire to tender our thanks t o the many, who thought kindly ministrations, words of comfort, and b eautiful expressions of sympathy, held to lighten our hours of tria l and bereavement.
