| Welcome to the Vanderver Family Site. I am your host Stephen Vanderver, and these are partial results from my research into my Vanderver Family. Variations found in the spelling of the name are numerous including VANDIVER, VANDEVER, VENIWAR, VANNEVER, etc. Any reasonable form will be accepted! My father was Herschel Vanderver (1902-1974) of White County, Illinois and Posey County, Indiana. His father was James VANDERVER (1868-1905), son of Charles VANDERVER (Abt. 1839-Unk). Other ancestor names found include: UPSHAW, HUNGATE, AXTON and CLEVELAND. My mother was Delphyn Rosalie Van Pelt (1902-1970) of Buffalo Gap and Hot Springs, South Dakota. Her father was Charles Arthur VAN PELT, b. 2/17/1876, Perry, Pike County, IL - and his father, William VAN PELT born 11/20/1851. Other ancestor names include COLEMAN, ROBB, SHINN, WILLOUGHBY. I would appreciate any help in finding more about my family and I will gladly share any relative information.
