| Researching Meredith/Merida of Knox County Kentucky I have recently linked one James M.Meredith to Lucy Asher the daughter of Robert Asher and Polly Ann Morgan Asher of Clay County Kentucky,it seems Lucy married James in Knox County in 1896 but have'nt at this time found Lucy and Henry Lincoln Lawson(Link),who were married I believe before 1900 but where at this time I don't know? At any rate James is living with his brother William(Sherman)Merida in upper stinking creek in Knox County in the 1900 census. Some of the Meredith's of (Clay County)sons and daughters of Bradley Meredith and Mahala Taylor Meredith to which,James is part,some moved to Choctaw,Oklahoma, and Adair Oklahoma if anyone has info on any of these please let me know. |
