2. JOHN F.² KELLEY (MICHAEL¹) was born Abt. 1791, and died 1849 in Fish Creek near Meignen, Marshall Co WVa. He married ELEANOR BAILEY 1827. She was born 1805, and died 1869.

3. FRANCIS² KELLEY (MICHAEL¹) was born Abt. 1791 in Virginia, and died September 08, 1849 in Marshall Co. (W) Virginia. He married MARY L. VANDIVER Abt. 1825, daughter of JOHN VANDIVER and MARY LEWIS. She was born 1799 in Virginia, and died March 1862 in Marshall Co., (W) Virginia.

Notes for FRANCIS KELLEY:
Francis Kelley, he and his brother, John, crossed the mountains in the 1830's, from
Hampshire Co. Virginia now W. Virginia with their wives, Mary Francis Vandiver &
Elenor Bailey. They settled on the Fish Creek about 5 miles from Rt. 2 not far from
Marshall County. John died shortly after their arrival. The Kelley's had brought their
slaves, Dennis & Minerva Magruger brother & sister who we freed and didn't want to
leave the Kelley's. They were house keepers until Dennis died and Minerva went to
Penn. with her son to live. A Henry Holmes also lived with the Kelley's. Johns wife
remarried, Andrew Jenney from Wetzel Co. on 24th July 1842.

Francis's Death was caused It's said, when a log fell on him.
