| Hello My wife and I are researching the name of Velasquez from New Mexico from the 1800's. My Name is Jimmy E. Velasquez, and I am the Son of Joe Milton Velasquez, and my grandfather's name was Esequiel Velasquez. My father Joe M. was born in New Mexico, and My grandfather Esquiel was also born in New Mexico. My grandfather was married to Maria Fortunata Valdez(velasquez). There is some discrepances in my lineage. Also there are two people in our family tree by the names of Santiago Velasquez, and also Martias Velasquez. They fit in somewhere but no one that is still alive seems to know much about these two people. Also a woman by the name of Cleofas Moya, and Antonio Serrano.
