| I am searching for information on DELMA JACKSON DALTON born May 25, 1873 in Jackson, Mississippi and died March 12, 1957 in Oxford Junction, Iowa. Delma Dalton married MARY "MOLLIE" BAKER in Bell County, TX in 1898. Their only child was OLGA ANN DALTON born Aug 1899. Sometime before 1933 Delma, Mollie and Olga moved to Huntsville, Walker county, Texas. Mollie's parents were John Madison BAKER from GA and Martha "Amanda" BICKLE from AR. Delma Dalton's parents were CHARLES FOX "C.F." DALTON (b1837 KY - d1900 TX) and MATTIE LIVINGSTON (b1843 MS - d1937 TX). C.F. and Mattie had the following children: Charles "A.C." (b1870 MS - d1902 TX), Alric V. (b1876 MS), Delma (b1873 MS - d1957 IA), James (b1878 MS), Caswell "Reese" (b1879 MS - d1941 TX), Beucy (b1882 MS), Eldrich (b1887 MS), and Mattie (b1889 MS). Most of this family can be found in the 1900 Falls County, TX census. I would like information about Delma's parents and grandparents. I would also like to know the circumstances of their coming to Texas and where else they lived. I have information to share about Delma's daughter, grandchild and great-grandchildren. |
