Welcome to my Fregoso / Velarde geneology home page. I started to document the Fregoso Family Tree in April of 2000. Much of the contents is based on conversations with family members. My sister, Alicia Arevalo (known as the family historian) has provided many important dates and photos. She is still "connecting" with old (sorry) family and friends and provides news for our family newsletter, "Relatively Speaking". The Velarde side is based on a book purchased by Rosemary Velarde. "Family Reidman" was published by a Pfaff family member who has done geneology research for many years. This book contains many "trees", county maps, published news articles, copies of military documents, photos and personal stories of various family members. I enjoyed this book so much I decided to compile similar information for the Fregoso family. Olivia Luna has recently supplied me with many photos and history to share. Please check it out and let me know what I can add. With help from my family I hope to grow this tree of information. All input is appreciated! |
