These witnesses were listed as Jacob and Catharina Oster; I considered this information as erroneous at first since the only marriage record found so far shows Johann Bernhard Cöster marrying Maria Elisabetha Eckhard.
However, because there is no other explanation, I am now convinced that Maria Elisabetha Oster is the mother of all of Bernhard's children. Death was recorded in the Reform Church Registry at Odenbach; Page 198, No. 11; Date : 18 May 1833; Name: Bernhard Cöster, age: 80 of Odenbach, Widower of Maria Elisabeth Oster. Birth was recorded in the Reform Church Registry at Ransweiler.

Johann Bernhard's death record indicates that he was 80 years old at the time of his death. His death was in 1833, therefore his birth would be in or around 1753. Johann Bernhard's death record indicates that he was buried on 21 May 1833.

In addition, Johann Bernhard's death record states that he was the widower of Maria Elisabetha Oster.
Therefore, it is assumed that Maria Eckhard died sometime after her marriage to Johann on 7 Dec 1774 and Johann then married Maria Elisabetha Oster prior to the birth of their son, Julius, on 7 Aug 1776.
