Notes for Emma Andrews: [EMMA'S~1.GED]
From Brenda Haussmann:
Emma Andrews had a sister Sarah (Geddies) who had a daughter Waxie. They had a house at Dornoch Tce with associated flats.
Emma lived in Stanley St and after she married George Gough lived at a house called "Glenroe" at West End.
Aunty Brenda remembers getting a violin for Xmas when she was about 4 and taking it into her dying grandmother's room - she remembers seeing her in a fancy iron bed. She said "Let her be".
Florrie Jesser's father was Emma's brother - maybe Orm?
From Ian Andrew's
Hope you are well. I can’t remember if I ever sent you a photo of the grave of Emma Andrews – daughter of Emma Pearman.
If not - here it is!
It is not particularly auspicious - but I was very excited to find it.
It is in a suburban (Dutton Park) cemetery on Brisbane. Emma (my Mum’s grandma) is buried with her second husband George Gough. Her first husband Wiliam Ross is buried a few kilometres away at Mt Coot-tha - with his first wife and Emma’s mother _ Emma Pearman! What a story!
