This photo was taken in Stone Co, MO about 1924. The elderly genleman is Joshua Nickerson (b. Feb. 03, 1844 Brown Co, IND d. March 09, 1930 in Reed Springs, Stone CO, MO.) with 3 of his Great- grandchildren, l-r Alta Mae Crabtree, Kermit Crabtree (baby) & Ernestine Crabtee. They are the grandchildren of his son William Albert Nickerson; the children of Viola Nickerson whom married Arthur Crabtree in 1917.
Joshua is a veteran of the Civil War (he enlisted in Fulton CO, ILL) and is buried in the Nickerson Cem. on Hwy 13 & OO, just outside Reed Springs in Stone Co, MO
