This tombstone is located on property that was the Larrance homestead, in the southeastern corner of Randolph Co., NC. The tombstone is a literal stone, with the letters carved in it. (Larrance didn't fit all the way, and the remaining letters are on the back of the stone). The cemetery area used to be in a wooded area, but is now a cow pasture. Descendants fenced in the cemetery several years ago. I have another picture posted on my homepage which gives an even better view of the stone, so be sure to look at it too.
