Helen Lawrence was a dau. of Rev. John Stanford & Annie Covington Lawrence (see their photos), and a sister of my great-grandpa Lawrence. Helen married Henry Clay Lowdermilk and they left NC. She worked as a teacher on the Ponca Indian reservation in Oklahoma territory. Helen died in Wilcox,,AZ.
