Oscar was a son of Rev. John S. & Annie Covington Lawrence (see their photos) and a brother of my great-grandpa. He lived in Seagrove, NC (Randolph Co.) and was very active in the Seagrove Christian Church. Oscar married twice--his first wife died very young-- and had six children, but only four survived. None of his children had any children, however, so Oscar has no living descendants.
