Raleigh C. Yow was a brother of my great-grandmother, Alice Yow Lawrence. Raleigh's 1st wife, Hattie Asbill, died in Oct 1902 and this photo was probably taken not too long after. His children are (left-right): Trissie (b. 1896), Alfred (b.Apr 1901), Elbert C. (b. 1899) and Vernon (b. 1897). The family lived in Greensboro,Guilford,NC. Raleigh remarried in 1906 to Lou Cassie Williams and had 4 more children.
