Jonathan was a son of Richard & Jane Hammond Larrance, and a grandson of John Larrance (1725-1800). Richard & Jane moved from NC to Jefferson Co. TN about 1809 (so I think Jonathan was born in NC). Jonathan still has a number of descendants in Tennessee. This line uses the spelling Larrance. Thanks to Felix Line & Marvel Fielden for sharing pictures from this branch.
